Is it possible that there are other lifeforms, than us, in the universe?

UFO's have been around since before recorded history. Aliens have landed on Earth time and time again. They might have already integrated into our society.

Ufology is the study and investigation of phenomena related to UFOs that no one before has been able to explain. In the subject Ufology there are three different catergories:

Close encounters of the first kind: This type is about a UFO, but there is no physical contact. The observed UFO has to be within such a distance that the observer can discover details. This means that the close encounters of the first kind can't be stars, air planes, planets etc.

Close encounters of the second kind: This is also a UFO-sighting but the difference is that there has been a physical contact as well. It could be burns, paralysis, sickness etc. But to be a UFO must have been sighted at the same time and place as the damages have been reported. An example: If a crop circle is going to be classed a UFO must have been sighted at the same time and place.

Close encounters of the third kind: This type is different because here the observer must have encountered an extraterrestrial intelligence.

There could also be a fourth group, This would include all these people who claim to have been abducted by aliens.

How it all started!

On June 24, 1947 a transport plane disappears in the state of Washington.  Everybody assumed that it had crashed  somewhere over the Cascade Mountains and searched everywhere for the missing plane. They even asked private persons to search for the plane, and this is why Kenneth Arnolds, a 32-year-old experienced pilot flies his plane over these mountains on this day. Something that would change his life and make him famous for a very long time.   

When he sits there trying to find the plane he all of a sudden sees a light reflex. He takes his plane to where he saw the light and there there are nine vessels flying just above the mountain tops at high speed. After further investigations they could determine that they were traveling at the speed of 2000 km/h. This sight caused Arnolds to give up the search and head home, but before he did this he reported over the radio what he had seen. This was big news and journalists wanted to know exactly what he had seen. He described it like this:

"They were almost glassy plates, he said. With a diameter between 15 and 20
meters. They sort of moved with trembling movements... sort of like when
you are throwing saucers on the water surface."

This was the beginning of the term "flying saucers". Even if they are called flying saucers, Foo-fighters, ghost flyers, fireballs, night suns or flying dragons, the correct mutual word is UFOs. UFO is short for Unidentified Flying Object. It was by the way the man behind project Blue Book that first used the word UFOs. In
Russia the same phenomena goes under the name of NLO, that stands for Njeopoznannyj Letajusjtjij Objekt, that has about the same meaning as the english UFO.

In 1947 that is the beginning of our UFO-flap wa one of the most important years when you are talking about UFOs. It was now that we started to investigate this phenomena and the media became interested and the year after, 1948, in February the Sign Project began. The Sign project was a government investigation of the "flying saucers". After that the project Grudge and the most famous project Blue Book followed.......

There are many theories which indicate aliensinvolvement, such as:

1. The vessels comes from a different dimension. The visitors aren't extra terrestrials but ultra terrestrials. There is a variantion on this theory, which states that what we see aren't here but what we see is a glimpse of another dimension through some sort of crack in reality.

2. Another theory is that we are having visitors that are space animals. The flying objects aren't vessels but life forms.  This may sound a little strange but even the Sign Project considered this theory.

3. There are also the theory that states that what people see is human mystery -- meaning that UFOs are psychosocial phenomena. Two people that support this theory are Lorn Coleman and Jerome Clark.

4. Another theory is the tectonic stress theory. Tensions below the ground cause electromagnetic charges that can create light effects on the sky. This electromagnetism is also supposed to be able to influence the way we think, and even make us see hallucinations that are very real the this person.

I have always wondered why are they only observing us and only contacting a few of us, why not contact us all? There are, as far as I know, five theories regarding this: The first one tells us that don't want us to know anything of their very advanced technology, because we would probably destroy our planet if we did.   It could also be that they are only here because of curiosity, kind of like us when we are observing animals in nature. They could be homeless and are just collecting information about us that they are going to use when they invade our planet. Maybe they can't talk to us even if they wanted to. They can't understand us or we can't understand them. This last theory implies that we aren't the only planet that they are observing, their purpose in that case is just to check that we aren't doing anything that are a threat to their existence.

So what is really the truth about UFOs? Fad, cover-up, or something more sinister? You decide! But I can tell you something: I believe they excist and that they are here everywhere, without us knowing!
